A special Angel Fund is offering GPCSL members and friends an opportunity to support our beloved Center in a special way. The Center recently entered into a 12-month lease agreement with the United Church of Christ at Valley Forge (UCC) in Wayne, PA. We see this move as an opportunity to reinvigorate our in-person Celebrations and community offerings such as live music, youth programs, Sunday classes, workshops, and special events (anyone up for BINGO?).

We expect our community to grow and flourish in this new, wonderful space! GPSCL has used Angel Funds from time to time to raise money for a specific purpose beyond our regular income streams. This Angel Fund is being set up to help cover the first year’s expenses associated with our lease agreement with UCC. The rental expense is very reasonable, but at our current monthly income level, we expect we’ll need to dip into our reserves initially. The funds we are raising will help us preserve our savings, maintaining the strong financial standing we enjoy today while we grow in our new space.

Our goal is to raise $15,000, and we already have $1,080.00!
